Dr. Candace J. Thomas is a Certified Medical Examiner for the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and performs DOT physical exams for commercial drivers and other Non-DOT corporations.  Dr. Thomas is on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners and has been in practice since 2005.

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) sets the medical requirements for commercial drivers.  Dr. Thomas helps manage DOT exams for several commercial driving companies in the Richmond area.  She stays current with DOT medical guidelines and documentation to assure that companies and drivers are compliant with current safety standards.
